Chattanooga Weekend October 7-9

In Chattanooga, the question often is “what should I pick?” rather than “what should I do?” Fall events are in full swing this weekend including festivals and outdoor events for all to enjoy. See below for a couple events going on in Chattanooga and don’t forget to tag us in your fun weekend adventures!

There is six outdoor events held this weekend by RiverRocks, including hiking, climbing, rowing and swimming. Compete and celebrate the Chattanooga outdoor lifestyle this weekend with RiverRocks.


Explore, mingle and enjoy Open Studio Nights with the creators at Chattanooga Workspace. This family friendly event on October 7th is free and open to the public. The Southeast Chapter of Tennessee Craft Tennessee will be hosting an exhibition and Dish T’ Pass will be serving hors d’oeuvres.


The Cambridge Square Night Market will be holding a gathering tonight at 6 -9 p.m. in the mixed-use community. Admission to the public is free, whether it is date night or an family night out, this is the perfect event space in Ooltewah. The Night Market features live music, a variety of locally owned restaurants, and shopping of handmade arts by local artists.


The Annual BarnFest at Barn Nursery is a family festival that is both fun and free! On Saturday, October 8th from 10-5 pm and Sunday, October 9th from 10-5 pm you can enjoy fall activities like pumpkin painting and be inspired for fall designs for your home.


Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure will be held in Chattanooga on Sunday, October 9th. The race begins at 11 am at UTC McKenzie Arena and has achieved 73% of its event fundraising goal of $200,000. To donate you can click on the link above and see race start time above to cheer on the participants.
